The Good and Welfare Committee was established to acknowledge and comfort local lodge dues paying members at times of happiness or sorrow.  The committee is to send acknowledgements to comfort members and their families when there is an illness, injury or bereavement; to congratulate members who retire; and to direct members to organizations for assistance if necessary.  Click here to send an E-mail to the Good & Welfare Committee.

Guide Lines for the Good and Welfare Committee

Monies will only be disbursed among 2339 dues paying members and their families, in accordance with our Local Lodge 2339H Bylaws.

Donations may not exceed fifty dollars, whether they be flowers, cards or monetary.  Deaths can be acknowledged with cards, flowers or charitable donations.  Retirements and other illness or injury will be limited to cards. Any charitable donations must comply with IAMAW policies and procedures.

In situations involving the death of a member or a death in the family of a member, memorials can be sent.

Please send all requests for remembrances to the Chair of the Good and Welfare Committee, Julie Martin or through the website email.  The referrals must include the name and address of the member and the reason for your request.  If the request is for a plant, flowers, or a balloon bouquet, you will also need to include the person’s home phone number for delivery purposes.  All acknowledgements must go through the committee before sent or completed.
