To identify opportunities which benefit our members, especially new hires and reserves. The Flight Attendant Resource committee will collaborate with all other committees to help share information among all flight attendants to help create a more cohesive work environment. The Flight Attendant Resource Committee started as the New Hire Committee to provide a smooth transition from new hire status to flight attendant. However, since Continental is not hiring new flight attendants at this time we have expanded the goal of our committee to include a mentorship program. The purpose of the mentorship program is to help develop the full potential of each flight attendant through the sharing of life knowledge, perspectives, and industry insight. Through mentorship we hope to enhance each flight attendant's work and union experience to create a more unified and motivated workforce. All our welcomed in this mentorship program be they new-hires, reserves, or senior colleagues. Anyone who wants extra guidance from their coworkers to help his or herself to succeed at work and improve his or her quality of life as a flight attendant, can sign up to be a mentee. Anyone who wants to share his or her experiences and insights to help a co-worker create a positive life experience and work environment is welcomed as a mentor. In the near future, we will be distributing a brochure with more information on the Mentorship program. If you have any questions or interested in signing up as a mentee or mentor please email the Flight Attendant Resource Committee. | ||
